Most of the sites I've seen send out e-mails like that to their members end up turning off a majority of members and losing most of the activity they had.
I can understand why site owners get frustrated, but sending out emails like that does absolutely nothing to help and usually ends up sending a large number of their active membership away.
I'm not a member of this one, but sorry to see that PO make the same mistake.
Yes it was a turn off for me also and I know of a few that have since asked for there accounts to be deleted. Its a shame
